Welcome to my personal website! My name is Teriitutea Quesnot. I am currently an Associate Professor of GIScience at the Department of Geography of Université de Bretagne Occidentale (Brest, France). I earned a Ph. D. in Geomatics from Université Laval (Québec, Canada) in 2016.

RESEARCH

Spatial Cognition

I am particularly interested in the way people interact with geospatial technologies.

Fuzzy Geographic Information Systems

My research also focuses on methods for representing fuzzy geographic objects in GIS.

Spatiotemporal Data Modeling

Going beyond the classic 3D+1 data modeling (Space+Time) by focusing on a 4D integrated approach (Space-Time).

Navigation and Wayfinding

Designing cognitive-adapted navigation and wayfinding systems

Indigenous Ontologies

My research promotes mapping methods for better integrating indigenous worldviews and conceptions of Space and Time.

Non-classical Logics

I also work on the integration of non-classical logics in GIS.
